SALT LAKE CITY-Sunday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

84.33 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (283,690-336,405) are recovered.

15.2 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (51,120-336,405) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (1,836) exceeded new active cases (-333) and new net recorded cases (1,516).

228,348 vaccines have been administered statewide.

220,181 Utahns (87.7 percent) have received one dose. 28,167 Utahns (12.34 percent) have received the recommended two doses.

Wasatch County has had 2,408 vaccines administered.

Of those, 2,263 (93.97 percent) have received one dose. 145 Wasatch County residents (6.02 percent) have received both doses.

Of the 13,016 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 461 are currently hospitalized, or 3.54 percent.

Of the 461, 182 are in ICU or 39.5 percent of ICU occupancy.

88.7 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 91.8 percent of ICU referral center beds.

1,595 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.474 percent of all-time cases.

Wasatch School District has 72 active cases out of 605 all-time cases or 11.9 percent.

Wasatch County has 3,927 all-time cases, 88 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
