SALT LAKE CITY-Sunday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

There have been 85,844 recorded cases of covid-19 in Utah per Sunday’s report. This is an increase of 1,200 in the past 24 hours.

918,571 Utahns have been tested for covid-19. This represents an increase of 5,677 in the past 24 hours.

There have been 63,307 recoveries from covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 906 in the past 24 hours.

The recovery percentage stayed stable at 73.7 percent Sunday. There are 22,020 active cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 287 in the past 24 hours.

The active case percentage in Utah is 25.65 percent.

There are 41,287 more recoveries than active cases in Utah. This is an increase of 619 in the past 24 hours.

There are 4,306 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah per Sunday’s report. Of these, 254 are currently hospitalized or 5.9 percent.

Of the 254, 99 are in ICU or 38.97 (39) percent. ICU is presently 67.4 percent occupied in Utah per Suday’s report.
