SALT LAKE CITY-Sunday, the Utah State Department of Health updated the latest statistics for covid-19 in Utah.

There have been 63,772 recorded cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 920 in the past 24 hours, but this represents a net decrease of 197 since Friday in the daily totals.

758,165 Utahns have been tested for covid-19. This is an increase of 6,215 in the past 24 hours.

There are presently 51,410 recoveries from covid-19 in Utah, or 80.6 percent of all cases. This is an increase of 453 net recoveries in the past 24 hours.

There are 11,922 active cases of covid-19 in Utah, or an increase of 467 in the past 24 hours. 18.69 percent of all covid-19 cases in Utah are active.

There have been 3,494 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah. Of those, 141 are currently hospitalized, or 4.03 percent of all those who have ever been hospitalized for covid-19 in state history.

Of the 141, 59 are in ICU, or 41.84 percent. ICU is 71.3 percent occupied in Utah presently.

The deaths attributed to covid-19 in Utah stayed at 440 for the second consecutive day. This caused the death percentage to drop to 0.689 percent.

Wasatch County saw three new cases of covid-19 in the past 24 hours, raising the total to 703.

The hospitalizations (31) and deaths (7) remain unchanged in the past 24 hours in Wasatch County.

The most recent death attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County occurred August 28.
