SALT LAKE CITY-Sunday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

81.97 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (232,355-283,473) are recovered cases.

17.6 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (49,817-283,473) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,070) exceed new net recorded cases (1,819) and new net active cases (-267).

47,382 vaccines have been administered statewide, an increase of 1,008 in the past 24 hours.

Of the 11,159 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 486 are currently hospitalized or 4.35 percent.

Of the 486, 164 are currently in ICU or 33.7 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.

83.1 percent of ICU beds statewide are currently occupied and 86.4 percent of ICU referral center beds.

1,301 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide, or 0.459 percent of all-time cases.

Wasatch School District has 31 active cases of 471 all-time cases, or 6.58 percent. This is a decrease from Saturday’s 7.04 percent.

Wasatch County has 3,255 all-time covid-19 cases, 81 all-time hospitalizations and 15 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
