Study: Utah Rents Down 4.99% Since 2022

(Undated) — Renting a place to live in Utah is more affordable now than it was a year ago, according to a new study. A report by Rent.com finds the average cost of rent in Utah has fallen by nearly five percent over the past 12 months. That amount to about 85 dollars a month. Researchers who conducted the study said the change in rental affordability is due to a recent drop in demand and an increase in rental housing on the market.
