(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah and its department of transportation are set to receive more than three-million federal dollars to update its electric vehicle charging network. Utah is one of 24 grant recipients to benefit from the Biden administration’s commitment to improving electric vehicle infrastructure. UDOT says the grant will be used to repair and replace 77 charging ports around the state. U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg [[Boot-edge-edge]] says the grants will bring the nation closer to having a national EV charging network.
