State Road 189 Closed After Crash

One person is unaccounted for and State Road 189 is closed after a semi-truck carrying propane lost control and rolled over into Deer Creek Reservoir Monday night. According to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden the semi was traveling southbound when it “lost control and jackknifed…hit the guard rail and went into Deer Creek Reservoir.” No other vehicles were involved. According to the Utah Department of Transportation, SR 189 is closed in both directions from milepost 25 to 22 and the closure is expected to last for several hours and could last into tomorrow.
