SALT LAKE CITY-Friday afternoon, Utah lieutenant governor Spencer Cox addressed the media, sharing information on COVID-19.
Cox reiterated the instructions previously given by Utah Governor Gary Herbert, advising Utahns to avoid large group gatherings and to practice social distancing.
Cox also exhorted residents to stay home if they are feeling symptoms of any illness. He acknowledged that it is not feasible for all Utahns to work from home, but encouraged everyone to make wise decisions.
Cox also confirmed more tests will begin to occur in Utah and the numbers are going to climb. He expected numbers to percolate during the “next two weeks” during his remarks.
However, he is also optimistic that the recoveries are going to occur more swiftly as soon as more information is shared via the testing.
