SLC Mayor Says Climate Change Solutions Will Take Discussion, Collaboration

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall says solutions to problems related to climate change will require cool heads and political cooperation. The mayor was part of a panel discussion on climate change yesterday during the Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City. Mendenhall said people who want to be part of the solution need to stay at the table rather than walk away when there are disagreements. Mendenhall said innovation by private companies will also provide ways to reduce emissions and address how pollution affects the environment.
