Severe Weather Threatens State

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah residents are starting the week with the potential for flash floods. Southern Utah is facing elevated flash flood risks while scattered microbursts threaten northern and central parts of the state. The National Weather Service warns that Bryce Canyon and Zion national parks, have a “probable” flash flood potential for today. The weather service advised people to stay clear of slot canyons, dry washes and small streams.
