Senator Niederhauser: Income Tax Increase Worst Option For Schools 

(Salt Lake City, UT)  –  The president of Utah’s state Senate is speaking out against raising the income tax to benefit schools.  Sandy Republican Senator Wayne Niederhauser told a legislative review panel yesterday the tax increase would be — quote — “the worst thing we can do.”  The group Our Schools Now is considering putting the issue on the ballot through an initiative.
