SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

There are currently 62,852 recorded cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 1,077 in the past 24 hours. It also represents a net decrease of 40 in the same span.

There have now been 751,950 Utahns tested. This represents a net increase of 16,812 in the past 48 hours.

50,957 recoveries from covid-19 have occurred in Utah. This is a net increase of 465 in the past 24 hours. The recovery percentage is currently 81.07 percent in Utah.

There are currently 11,455 active cases in Utah, or 18.225 percent of all covid-19 cases recorded.

There have been 3,477 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah. Of these, 137 are currently hospitalized, or 3.94 percent of all-time hospitalizations.
