Saturday COVID-19 Stats In Utah

HEBER CITY, Utah-Saturday, the Utah Department of Health released its daily COVID-19 statistics.

Presently, there are 7,068 positive tests for COVID-19 in the Beehive State. This is an increase of 155 cases from the previous day but represents a -9 decrease in the overall net positive cases in the past 24 hours.

There have been 166, 774 total tests for COVID-19 administered in Utah. This is an increase of 3,556 tests in the past 24 hoours.

This slightly rises the overall positive test percentage to 4.238 percent although only 4.35 percent of those tested in the past 24 hours in Utah tested positive. This is a significant decrease from Friday’s totals, when 5.29 percent of the population tested positive.

There have presently been 578 hospitalizations in Utah from COVID-19. This is an increase of 12 from the previous day.

In Wasatch County, there are now 200 cases of COVID-19. This is an increase of 4 from the previous day’s totals. There are now 9 hospitalizations and one death in Wasatch County from the virus. This death occurred April 10.

Monday, it is anticipated that we will hear from the Utah Coronavirus Task Force once again.
