SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, covid-19 statistics for Utah were released by the state department of health.

There have been 69,547 recorded cases of covid-19 per Saturday’s report. This is an increase of 1,017 and a net decrease of 394 in the past 24 hours.

805,079 Utahns have been tested for covid-19 as of Saturday. This is a net increase of 9,862 Utahns in the past 24 hours.

There have been 53,806 recoveries for covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 446 in the past 24 hours.

The recovery percentage in Utah is currently 77.4 percent.

There are 15,293 active cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 571 in the past 24 hours. The active case percentage is 22 percent in Utah for covid-19.

There have been 3,702 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah. Of these, 187 are currently hospitalized, or 5.05 percent.

Of the 187, 77 are in ICU, or 41.2 percent. ICU is presently 71.8 percent occupied in Utah.

There were no new deaths for covid-19 reported in Utah Saturday. This keeps the total at 448 deaths. The death percentage in Utah for covid-19 is currently 0.644 percent.

Wasatch County saw five new cases of covid-19 in the past 24 hours, raising the total to 750 per Saturday’s report. Hospitalizations decreased by one, to 32 from Friday.

The death total for Wasatch County remains at 7 Saturday, dropping Wasatch County’s death percentage to 0.933 percent.

The most recent death attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County occurred August 28.
