Rocky Mountain Power Preparing For Summer Heat

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Rocky Mountain Power is preparing to meet the surging demand for electricity. The company president said the summer is the busiest time of the year because electricity usage peaks. Officials say the electric utility company completed 55 projects that included increasing system and distribution capacity. The company said to save energy residents should set their thermostat at 78 degrees or higher and schedule annual tune-ups for air conditioners.
