Rally Held In Response To Lawsuits Seeking Public Land

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Hundreds turned out at the State Capitol over the weekend to protest lawsuits seeking Utah public lands. The rally on Saturday afternoon organized by the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance is in response to Utah’s lawsuit aiming to take control of 18.5 million acres of federal managed land. Organizers say it’s also in anticipation of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration bringing changes to public lands.
