Proposed public Transportation circular in Wasatch County

Dallin Koecher the director of tourism in Wasatch County , has proposed a public transportation community circular shuttle from Feb 14th to March 2nd.  The proposal includes 2 1/2 weeks of transportation throughout the Heber Valley for both community members and the athletes of the IBU International Competition to use for free.    The proposal includes a request for $40,000. from the transiet room tax fund.  This is a tax generated from the hotel industry with the purpose of  promoting tourism in the community.  The proposed shuttle will enable local residents and competitors to reach venues and enjoy local establishments in the Heber Valley. Wasatch County Council will make their final decision on the proposal during the next scheduled meeting that will be held February 2nd at 3pm in the Wasatch County Building. The IBU Youth and Junior World Championships Biathlon has an economic value of 1.25 milllion dollars for the community.
