SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday evening, President Russell M. Nelson of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shared a video concerning the commencement of the COVID-19 outbreak.
In the short 3-minute video, President Nelson expressed his love for the Saints throughout the world and advised members to capitalize on the opportunity that now exists for home-centered Gospel study.
President Nelson encouraged members to use the newly-released Book of Mormon videos if they feel so prompted and of Christ’s words in Doctrine & Covenants 82:10 which declare “I the Lord am bound when you do what I say.”
President Nelson also stated his optimism for the future and that he and his contemporaries in the First Presidency and Quorum of Twelve Apostles are looking forward to next month’s General Conference.
