SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, President Russell M. Nelson, the president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, on YouTube, called upon the world to fast Sunday March 29.
President Nelson cited his previous experience as a surgeon and as a man of faith to explain the necessity of all who are able to participate in this fast.
The purpose of this fast, President Nelson explained, is to call upon the Lord to provide relief to those afflicted by COVID-19 throughout the world.
