Prescribed Fire Project In Summit County

A new prescribed fire project has begun in Summit County. In a post to their Twitter page, Uinta Wasatch Cache National Forest shared that fire crews will start hand ignition in the Ponderosa project area on Nov. 14 approximately 10 miles east of Kamas along the Mirror Lake Highway SR150. Officials ask that individuals drive cautiously where fire fighters are working.
