(Salt Lake City, UT) — A new poll shows Republican Senator Mitt Romney leading all GOP challengers and potential challengers, if he runs for re-election. The poll from Nobel Predictive Insights shows 30-percent of Utah Republicans support Romney. Attorney General Sean Reyes is the only other possible candidate with double-digit support, at 13-percent. Reyes is said to be considering a U.S. Senate run. The two Republicans who launched campaigns earlier this year are in low single digits as State House Speaker Brad Wilson is at five-percent and Riverton Mayor Trent Staggs has three-percent support. Romney recently ramped up his fundraising efforts but hasn’t said whether he’ll be a candidate for the seat he won in 2018.
