The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind those who are planning controlled burns on their property to notify dispatch.
Two controlled burns in Sevier County on Tuesday got out of control and required the fire department to help get them out.
The state requires any burns to have to permit obtained from the state’s website between March 1 and May 30.
