SALT LAKE CITY-One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash late Friday morning in Salt Lake City.
A pedestrian was struck by a semi-truck in the area of 600 South and 500 West as confirmed by Salt Lake City police.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Northbound Interstate 15 and eastbound Interstate 80 off-ramps to 600 South were closed for several hours because of the incident.
As of 3:45 pm, all roads had reopened.
The incident was under investigation as of Friday afternoon.
