SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

82.03 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (234,298-285,633) are recovered.

17.52 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (50,030-285,633) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (1,943) exceed new active cases (213) with new net recorded cases (2,160) exceeding each of them.

There are 184,268 more recoveries than active cases statewide.

There have been 48,575 vaccinations administered, an increase of 1,193 in the past 24 hours.

Of the 11,240 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 484 are currently hospitalized, or 4.31 percent.

Of the 484, 167 are currently in ICU or 34.5 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.

83.2 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 86.2 percent of ICU referral center beds.

1,305 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide, or 0.457 percent of all-time cases.

Wasatch School District has 25 current cases out of 472 all-time cases, or 5.3 percent. This number significantly dropped from Sunday’s 6.58 percent.

Wasatch County has 3,296 all-time cases, 83 all-time hospitalizations and 15 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
