SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, covid-19 statistics for Utah were updated by the state department of health.
68.62 percent (a number that has steadily risen since last Wednesday) of covid-19 cases statewide (134,296-195,706) are recovered.
30.9 percent (a number that has steadily fallen since last Wednesday) of covid-19 cases (60,539-195.706) are active cases statewide.
The new recoveries in the past 24 hours (2,215) exceeded the new net cases recorded (1,897) as well as the new active cases in the same span (-321).
There are 73,757 more recoveries than active cases statewide per Monday’s report.
Of the 8,135 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 560 are currently hospitalized or 6.88 percent.
Of the 560, 205 are in ICU, or 36.6 percent of ICU occupancy statewide. 82.6 percent of covid-19 beds statewide are occupied and 89.5 percent of ICU referral center beds.
871 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.445 percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch County has 2,194 all-time covid-19 cases, 56 all-time hospitalizations and 13 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
