SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

65.3 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (117,104-179,420) are recovered statewide.

34.3 percent of covid-19 cases in Utah (61,519-179,420) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (1,200) exceeded new active cases (1,040).

There are 55,585 more recoveries than active cases statewide per Monday’s report.

Of the 7,602 hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah, 545 are currently hospitalized or 7.17 percent.

Of the 545, 199 are in  ICU or 36.5 percent of ICU occupancy.

87.9 percent of  ICU beds statewide are occupied and 91.9 of ICU referral center beds.

797 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.4442 percent of all cases.

In Wasatch County, there have been 1,927 all-time covid-19 cases, 54 all-time hospitalizations and 12 all-time deaths attributed to the disease.
