SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, statistics were updated by the state department of health for covid-19 in Utah.

There have been 63,772 recorded cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 622 in the past 24 hours, but also represents a net decrease of 495 cases since Friday.

762,051 Utahns have been tested for covid-19, an increase of 3,886 in the past 24 hours.

51,660 Utahns have recovered from covid-19. This is an increase of 250 in the past 24 hours. The recovery percentage in Utah is 80.22 percent.

There are 12,293 active cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 371 in the past 24 hours. The current active case percentage in Utah is 19.09 percent.

There have been 3,520 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah. Of these, 144 are current hospitalizations, or 4.1 percent of all-time covid-19 hospitalizations.

Of the 144, 61 are in ICU, or 42.4 percent. ICU is 67.7 percent occupied in Utah presently.

There was one new death attributed to covid-19 Monday. This increased the death total to 441 but dropped the death percentage statewide to 0.684 percent.

Wasatch County experienced four new cases of covid-19 in the past 24 hours, raising the net total to 707. There have been 33 hospitalizations in Wasatch County for covid-19, an increase of two since Sunday.

The death total remained at 7. This dropped the death percentage in Wasatch County to 0.99 percent.

The most recent death attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County occurred August 28.
