WASATCH COUNTY, Utah-This week, Wasatch County, and more specifically, Midway residents are invited to several meetings and public hearings this week.
In the elections of 2018, residents of Wasatch County and Midway City passed bonds opening space preservation.
Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm at the Wasatch County Administration Building, the county council will conduct a public hearing on a new Wasatch space ordinance and revised Interlocal Agreement.
This ordinance will form the standards and criteria for the Wasatch Opens Land Board to follow as the $10 million bond is used.
Thursday, Midway land owners are invited to a meeting concerning conservation easement.
This meeting commences at 6:00 pm at the Midway Town Hall and will focus on certified land conservation groups making a short presentation.
There will be a question-answer session for those interested in preserving their land by using the $5 million bond passed by citizens.
