Man Pleads Guilty In Child Abuse Case 

(Cedar City, UT)  –  A Cedar City man will be sentenced next month on a child abuse charge for beating three kids, including hitting one with a cast iron pan.  Josh Kern agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors which saw them drop the severity of the child abuse charge to a third degree felony in court yesterday.  The children reportedly told investigators Kern had repeatedly abused them for at least a decade, including one child that was repeatedly hit with the pan.  Authorities say those kids are now living at an “undisclosed location.”
