WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah (AP)-Per a report from KTVX-Channel 4 in Salt Lake City, a man is dead after a crash on S.R. 18 in Washington County.
The Utah Highway Patrol reports a semi tractor pulling an empty tanker trailer was traveling southbound on S.R. 18 near Enterprise around 6:00 pm MST Monday evening.
A Volvo SUV was traveling northbound in the same area and crossed the center line, striking the semi head-on.
The only occupant of the Volvo died in the crash.
Troopers reported the surface of the roadway was wet and light snow flurries had occurred in the area.
Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in the incident.
