LDS Church Announces New First Presidency

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced a new first presidency. In an announcement on Oct. 14 from Temple Square in Salt Lake City it was shared that Dallin H. Oaks is the new Prophet and President of the Church. Henry B. Eyring was announced as his first counselor and D. Todd Christofferson as second counselor. These three men make up the new First Presidency of the Church. Jeffrey R. Holland was also announced as the new President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Former President of the Church Russel M. Nelson passed away Sept. 27 at 101 years old.
