SALT LAKE CITY-Officials with Glen Canyon National Recreation Area confirmed Lake Powell will be opened to all boats in phases as of May 8.
May 8
Park officials stated the main launch ramp at Bullfrog and Wahweap launch ramp will be open to all boats for day use on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The ramps will be open from 7:00 am-8:00 pm. Restrooms at both launch ramps will also be open.
May 15
The Bullfrog and Wahweap ramps will be open 7 days a week to all boats and begin overnight use. The Halls Crossing launch ramp will open to all boats for day use only, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00-8:00 pm
May 22
The Halls Crossing ramp will be open to all boats, 7 days a week as of May 22. In a release, officials said the health and safety of all visitors, employees and partners continues to be paramount.
