FARMINGTON, Utah-This weekend, Lagoon, per a report on KUTV 2 News of Salt Lake City, will reopen but a change is being implemented for this season.
For the first time in many years, the Farmington-based amusement park will allow beer inside the park, with the exception of Lagoon-A-Beach Water Park.
Lagoon has opened the new Lagoon Biergarten, south of the historic wooden roller coaster.
As has traditionally been the case, Lagoon personnel confirmed picnicking will still be allowed in the park. Patrons will also still be allowed to bring their own food inside the park but no glass containers will be permitted, per Lagoon media representative Adam Leishman.
As of March 30, Lagoon will only be open weekends. As has traditionally been the case, the park will be open daily the first week of June.
