Kirk’s Suspected Killer In Court

(Provo, UT) — The man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk is being held without bond in Utah. Tyler Robinson appeared at a virtual hearing in Provo yesterday, where he was informed the state is seeking the death penalty in his case. The 22-year-old Robinson appeared in a green bullet-proof vest, and nodded as the judge spoke, never changing his expression as all of the charges against him were read aloud. Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray earlier said it was his decision alone to seek the death penalty in this case. Utah is one of five states that allow execution by firing squad if lethal injection is unavailable.
