Joseph Smith Memorial Building Partially Reopens

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Joseph Smith Memorial Building has partially reopened. The historic structure at Temple Square has been undergoing renovation work for the last two-and-a-half years. Besides what are described as “design improvements,” the building also has new mechanical systems which include energy efficient upgrades. Visitors can now once again have access to the lobby and mezzanine levels of the building. The chapel and other parts of the building remain closed.
