HEBER CITY, Utah-Per a report corroborated last week by Heber Light & Power, the Heber City Police Department has received word of a new scam occurring in Wasatch County with people claiming to be from the Heber City-based utility.

As their tweet attests, these impostors are claiming to be from Heber Light & Power. However, the utility confirms they will never demand immediate payments over the phone of Heber Valley residents.
Heber City police exhort residents to call them for any assistance with a scam situation.
