Hatch Comes To Defense Of HHS Secy Nominee 

(Washington, DC)  –  Utah Republican Orrin Hatch is defending a Trump cabinet nominee.  Congressman Tom Price is being grilled this week during a Senate confirmation hearing for the position of Department of Health and Human Services secretary.  Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer is suggesting Price may have broken the law if it is true he bought shares in a medical device company and then pushed legislation to help the manufacturer.  Senator Orrin Hatch called the claim a “hypocritical attack” on Price’s good character.  Price, a Georgia Republican, and a surgeon by trade, has denied any wrongdoing.
