SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert issued an executive order. In the prepared statement, he declared:
“I am grateful to all Utahns who take these public health recommendations seriously. We still need to be extremely cautious in the moderate-risk phase and much of that caution will carry into the low-risk as well. Following these guidelines is crucial to ensuring the safety and health of all Utahns.”
This, of course, means that groups of up to 20 or fewer are permissible.
Outdoor recreation guidelines clarify no one should participate in sporting activities requiring teammates to be closer than 10 feet from one another.
Clients obtaining personal care services can remove their mask when it would interfere with any services they may be receiving.
There are three hot spots in Utah County, north Orem, an essential business in Payson and a Provo-based long-term healthcare facility.
Everyone in the 85074 area code in Orem has been asked to get tested for COVID-19 regardless of whether they are exhibiting symptoms of the disease or not.
