SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday evening, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert granted permission for nine Utah counties to move to “smart green” per his Utah Leads Together 2.0 plan.
KSL News Radio’s Michele Rowe was the first with the scoop.
BREAKING NEWS: @GovHerbert Has issued an order moving Beaver, Daggett, Duchesne, Emery, Garfield, Millard, Piute, Uintah and Wayne Counties to move to 'Green' starting tomorrow (June 19) at 1:00 pm.

Wayne County, which belongs to the Richfield-based Central Utah Public Health Department district, has been exemplary throughout the COVID-19 era in the Beehive State as they have yet to record any cases of the virus.
The smart green is comparable to the yellow, or low-risk phase, most of Utah is in but allows for larger gatherings.
