Funeral Arrangements Made For Fallen Santaquin Police Officer

(Santaquin, UT) — Funeral arrangements have been made for fallen Santaquin police officer Sergeant Bill Hooser. He was killed in the line of duty Sunday morning when he was reportedly run over by semi-truck driver Michael Jayne, who allegedly tried to flee from a traffic stop. The funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Utah Valley University in Orem, and the service will be followed by a procession to the Santaquin Cemetery. Officials say the route for the procession hasn’t been finalized yet.
