SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, covid-19 statistics for Utah were updated by the state department of health.

84.03 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (279,908-333,118) are recovered.

15.5 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (51,639-333,118) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (3,115) exceed new active cases (-490) and new net recorded cases (2,649).

There are 228,269 more recoveries than active cases statewide.

207,127 vaccinations have been administered statewide. 183,658 Utahns (88.7 percent) have received one dose.

23,469 Utahns (11.3 percent) have received the recommended two doses.

In Wasatch County, 2,315 residents have received the vaccine. Of those, 2,224 (96.07 percent) have received one dose. 91 Wasatch County residents (3.93 percent) have received two doses.

Of the 12,884 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 488 are currently hospitalized or 3.79 percent.
