SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, the covid-19 statistics for Utah were updated by the state department of health.

82.2 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (263,256-320,102) are recovered.

17.3 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (55,374-320,102) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,528) exceed new active cases (-51). They are both exceeded by new net recorded cases (2,543) in the past 24 hours.

There are 207,882 more recoveries than active cases statewide.

Via survey, 142,751 vaccines have been administered. Per records from the Utah Statewide Immunization Information System, 136,156 vaccines have been administered.

Of the 12,351 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 584 are currently hospitalized or 4.73 percent.

Of the 584, 210 are in ICU or 35.95 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.

92.6 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 95.4 percent of ICU referral center beds.

1,472 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.4599 (0.460) percent of all-time cases.

Wasatch School District has 46 active cases out of 533 all-time cases or 8.63 percent. This is slightly up from Thursday’s 8.57 percent.

Wasatch County has 3,685 all-time covid-19 cases, 84 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
