SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, the covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

There have been 91,957 recorded cases of covid-19. This is an increase of 1,496 in the past 24 hours.

957,309 Utahns have been tested for covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 9,307 in the past 24 hours.

There have been 68,092 recoveries from covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 1,409 in the past 24 hours.

The 1,409 recoveries from Thursday-Friday represent a new state record for a 24-hour period.

The recovery percentage for covid-19 in Utah is 74.04 percent.

There are 23,328 active cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 79 in the past 24 hours. The active case percentage in Utah is 25.4 percent.

There are 44,764 more recoveries than active cases in Utah. This is an increase of 1,330 in the past 24 hours.

There are 4,559 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah per Friday’s report.

Of these, 290 are currently hospitalized or 6.36 percent. Of  the 290, 96 are in ICU or 33.1 percent.

ICU is 75 percent occupied in Utah per Friday’s report.
