(Logan, UT) — The former deputy athletics director at Utah State University is filing a lawsuit against the school. Jerry Bovee claims he was mistreated by athletic director Diana Sabau. He also alleges he was fired last year because he reported policy violations. Meanwhile, officials claim his July firing was due to violations of mandatory reporting policies. Bovee was accused of not following reporting rules when investigating an alleged domestic violence incident involving a football player. His lawsuit seeks 300-thousand-dollars in damages and back pay.
