WASATCH COUNTY, Utah-Monday, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest confirmed firewood permits are still available on Heber-Kamas District land.
As of October 25, those with permits may cut firewood at the Mirror Lake, Lost Creek, Moosehorn, Trial Lake, Washington Lake and Lilly Lake campgrounds.
Restrooms are not available at these locations. No camping will be permitted in these areas and no felling of trees is allowed at campgrounds.
Activities should be exclusively limited to cutting and gathering of firewood from trees already on the ground.
