FDA Recalls Candy For Possible Salmonella Contamination

(Washington, DC) — Dozens of snacks and candies are recalled in connection with a possible salmonella risk. The FDA says the recall of about two dozen treats made by the Palmer Candy Company is upgraded to its highest level of health hazard due to potential risks. Officials say white candy coatings may be contaminated. The products were sold nationwide at retailers like Target, Walmart and Dollar General and have a best-buy date of April 2025.
