Deputy Washington Co. Attorney Eric Gentry Named District Court Judge

(St. George, UT) — Deputy Washington County Attorney Eric Gentry will soon be moving to the 5th District Court bench. On Wednesday, Governor Spencer Cox named Gentry as his choice to replace retiring Judge Michael Westfall. The state Senate will need to confirm Gentry’s nomination. Gentry has served in the County Attorney’s Office since 2007. Before then he worked as a prosecutor for the cities of Santa Clara and Enterprise and as an assistant city attorney for the City of St. George.
