Cox: U.S.A “Declining Democracy”

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox says he believes the United States is in a “declining democracy.” Cox voiced serious concerns during his monthly press conference Thursday. He said he, like other public officials, has received threats which are a symptom of a broader problem in society that does not bode well for the U.S. Cox said, “There is a very real chance over the next couple of decade of a complete failure of our democratic institutions of our republic.” The governor said he takes that very seriously.
