Conservationalist Buys Needles Outpost In Bears Ears 

(Bears Ears National Monument, UT)  –  A conservationist is the new owner of a 640-acre area within the Bears Ears National Monument known as Needles Outpost.  Jennifer Speers bought the property at auction yesterday for two-point-five-million dollars, about one-point-five-million more than where the bidding started.  The land includes a gas station, commercial camping and a disused landing strip, according to the “Deseret News.” Â
