Church Missionary, Wife Die Of Injuries From California Car Crash

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A senior LDS missionary and his wife are dead following a car crash last Saturday in Fresno, California. Officials with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints say Elder Paul Hardin of San Antonio died Monday after he was hospitalized in critical condition following the crash. Police say the couple were stopped at a red light when their vehicle was hit by an impaired driver traveling at a high rate of speed. Officers found 65-year-old Mary Hardin dead at the scene. The couple arrived to serve at the California Fresno Mission last January.
